Alex continues to teach us lessons. After
his visit with the pediatrician, he had a very fussy
night. He cried like he was composing an opera for the
hearing impaired and by the end of it, Julie and I could
no longer hear. Two hours in the middle of the night.
Finally he calmed back down, ate and then slept. Silence
never sounded so good. (Shades of his teenage years,
Ill bet.) Yesterday, he didnt cry for more
then five minutes. He barely peeped, except for the cute
little snort he got from his mother. It was a real
contrast. We think he may have been over-stimulated with
the visit to the pediatrician, the prick in the foot, the
car ride, etc. We look forward to the days when the
patterns start. We are glad however that Friday was not
the day he chose as his model. Alex continues to eat. We
think hes starting to get a good case of baby fat
going. We make him do push ups and clean the house. Ok,
maybe not, but he is able to push him self up with his
arms when he is lying on his stomach. We discovered this
new skill this morning. So, we do let him do
push ups
I need to go. It's now 10:15 pm and the opera is
starting.
