Yesterday, January 12th at 12:12 Alexander Stanley was born. He weighed in at 8.2 lbs, and 20.5 inches. We plan on calling him Alex. Julie and I both agree he is the most beautiful thing we have ever seen. Neither one of us can help but tear up when we look at his face. He's beautiful.

Both Julie and Alex are doing great. We are home now and a bit wiped out. The labor was a total of about 36 hours and has a great story. I'll have to send you the details once we have rested a bit. Thanks for all the cool e-mail we have already received. We feel grateful for the support. It also brings tears to our eyes.
